My name is Katie Shields and I am glad you stopped by! I started Atlántico Design Co as a side hustle and creative outlet. My husband and I have embarked upon one renovation and three managed builds over a span of less than ten years. We are embarking on our next build as the general contractors and are excited for people to follow along that journey here.

Before starting my entrepreneurial journey, I spent most of my career working as a sales executive for Fortune 500s and startups in the healthcare software and medical device spaces. After becoming pregnant with our first child, I decided to take the leap into starting my own business, which I franchised, sold in 2020, and have not looked back!

Tipsy Spritzers, a better-for-you canned cocktail, is my primary focus right now and was launched in 2021. I love bringing unique, disruptive concepts to market and look forward to sharing more about this, and our next build, on my blog.
